Our story begins in 2011 when Garabato Gourmet S.L was founded. A year later Garabato would be transformed into the modern Garabato restaurant of nowadays. An ambitious project with a clear mission to expand the gastronomic offer of Albacete bringing in some dishes and savors of other cultures.
Our goal is to be in a constant search of new combinations of flavors from all kinds of cultures to never fail to surprise the customer.
Garabato introduced sushi for the first time in Albacete. Also, popularized the Peruvian food which until then was a great unknown in La Mancha. Today the menu offers all kinds of typical dishes from Peru, Mexico, Thailand, China, France, or the United States, as well as, a fusion of these cultures with our own culture.

Meet our team
Carlos Flores Santos-Suarez
Born in Madrid in 1974, Carlos has a degree in business administration specialized in finance. After a decade in investment banking in London and Madrid, he founded and participated in several companies of the agri-food and renewable energy sectors. He also owns the Company Garabato Gourmet, SL.
Daniel Valencia Quintero
Born in Santa Rosa (Colombia) in 1994, Daniel trained at the Cooking School of Albacete. He joined Garabato in 2015 and specialized in Sushi, becoming soon the Head SushiMan. Since 2019 he is the Head Chef of the restaurant.
David Reales Gelvez
Born in Colombia, David has been dedicated to the catering sector since 2000, after completing his studies as Head Waiter / Maître in the university training school in Seville. He joined the Garabato restaurant team in 2012.
